Google AdSense, the publisher program run by the search engine giant gives an unique opportunity to webmasters and Bloggers to monetize their site the right way, and actually get a good return on their time investment. But it is the new site on the block that is struggling with making money, however it is set up to do that, and often times the choices are difficult. That is why Google’s program can be so useful for this kind of site as it is extremely easy to set up and go. Adsense policies are strictly enforced, and it can be really easy to get terminated from the program.

The most obvious point is to never click your own ads. This goes without saying; if you want to create a long term income with AdSense and want to keep it straight, then don’t make the mistake of clicking on your own ads. This is simply nothing to be debated or contested, so do not ever do it. If you click on one of your ads unintentionally, it will be fine and no problems; but do not think you can do it more than once.

When you get your ad blocks in place, be extremely careful that you do not call any special attention to the ads. Implementing Adsense is very easy because you merely put their Adsense code, that you should never modify, into your page HTML, and you are all set to start making money. So you just need to be concerned with proper placement and making your ads blend in properly. If you violate this rule it will be classified as click fraud because you are unnaturally causing more clicks to occur. Just do not do anything other than implement their code, and you will be good to go.

People have tried all manner of things to make the ads blend in completely with the site, and you can run into some difficulties if you do that. You will be able to make the ad creatives work aesthetically with your site, and that is the proper thing to do. Every step that you take towards making your ads more effective in terms of CTR should be within the boundaries that have been put down by Google; going beyond these will only increase the risk of having your account banned.

If you just keep to the letter of the Adsense law, then you will be fine plus it is very simple to do that. A lot of people are tempted to make changes or take shortcuts, and that is when people get into trouble. Adsense was designed to be used by the masses, and that is why you know it really cannot be that hard to do.
