8 Down and Dirty Ways To Get Your Blog Readers Coming Back For More

If you operate Your Own Blog you know how important it is to create fresh, and valuable content for you readers on a daily basis.

I want to give you 8 little blogging secrets that will keep your readers coming back everyday.

1. Blog post with quick tips

Quick tips are a great way to add some quick value to your blog. These can be in between your other articles you write. Make this post between 100 and 200 words. Quick tips will be ideas you want to share with your readers, but don’t want to put out a long article. A quick tip could be “How to eat less when visiting your favorite restaurant”

2. Blog post “how to’s”

How to post expand on the quick tips. These post will give more details on a specific topic. Step-by-step instructions on a topic in your niche will give your readers a more in depth example.

Search around on forums and other Blogs and see what people are asking about. Find questions others are asking and then create a How To Blog post. Readers love these type of posts and will position yourself as a leader with your target market.

3. Review It Blog post

Reviewing of products or service is a great post for your readers. This blog posts will help your readers make a better buying decision, and will give you some affiliate cash. You can create a review post and then place an affiliate link at the bottom back to that product or service.

Be sure to make the review not just about the good stuff, or benefits. Also add in thing you feel can be changed. This will show your readers you are not biased and not just one sided. Your honesty will go a long way.

4. Top 10 ways “resource” blog post

A resource list will be very popular with your readers. People love to scan lists and get to the points they are most interested in. Example would be “10 ways to sell a house fast”. These 10 could link to resources and give more detailed information. Your readers will think you are the best because you give them a well rounded blog post with tons of value.

5. Blog post with an interview.

Do you know someone famous in your niche? Interview them and post the details on your blog. If you interview someone who is popular in your niche your readers are going to love you for it. The best place to do an interview is at an event. Leaders love to talk and love to give interviews. They know you will post this on your blog giving value to your readers as well as there followers.

6. Post the “Best of” on your blog.

These are great for end of the month, or end of the Year information. The best of could be anything within your niche. “The best books I read all year”, “The best interview I had this year”. Your readers will love that you take the time to bring out your favorite and put in in the best of group.

7. Post a Personal Story

Everyone loves a good personal story. Your readers want to know all about what makes you work. Did you go an event recently and learn new stuff. Write A Blog post about that event. Did you recently reach some long term goals you have been working on? Put together a post of the goals you achieved. Personal stories are high valued content, that gives an in site into what is working for you in your niche.

8. Post about the News

Did something dramatic happen with your niche lately? Write a blog post about it. Readers love these posts because they can create comments about that new story. Be sure to place a link in the post back to the news item.
